The Denpasar Police have named three suspects, including a national boxer named Andreas Seran, in the murder of Sean Keith William, a 22-year-old New Zealand tourist who was found dead in a hotel in Kuta, Badung, Bali.

Besides Seran, Doni and Nengah Suastika, both employees of Bounty Discotheque in Kuta, were also named suspects, according to Kuta Police Chief Adjunct Commissioner Dody Prawira on Tuesday, Antara newswire reported.

"We have found enough proofs that the three suspects indeed attacked and threw bottles at William, when there was a brawl at the Bounty Discotheque," he said.

The information was received from witnesses as well as from recording of CCTV installed at the discotheque room, he said.

Andreas Seran, an Indonesian boxer who underwent exercise at Harry's Gym in Perth, Australia, involved in the brawl because he was drunk. Doni was a security guard and Nengah Suastika was a bartender at the discotheque.

William, who arrived few days ago in Bali, died after being attacked by several people at Bounty Discotheque, Kuta, Commissioner Ketut Suwetra, a spokesman of the Denpasar Police office, said here earlier on Tuesday.

According to witnesses, the incident started when William asked for a discount for the beverages that he had taken, but he failed to get the discount.

However, some other witnesses said that William wanted to dance on the second floor, but he had been denied the entry by security guards because the room was full. The New Zealand tourist got angry and threw bottles to the audience. Some audience responded by also throwing bottles, while several others attacked William.

Police later came to the discotheque and William was taken back to his hotel. However, William was found dead in his hotel room in the next morning.

His body was later taken to Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar for an autopsy.
